Crypto Task Force Conducts Series of Roundtables for Crypto Regulation
The US SEC Crypto Task Force has announced a series of roundtables in March for crypto regulation in the country. In the first roundtable, the industry experts and government leaders agreed to take a new approach to form guidelines for the crypto industry in the US.
The series of events are covering a wdie range of topics, from DeFi and KYC to Tokenization and trading. These meet ups are including crypto industry leaders to gain insights into this space and understand the best approach to regulate it.
SEC Commissioner Hester M. Pierce says,
“It is important for the SEC to grapple with custody issues, which are some of the most challenging as we seek to integrate crypto assets into our regulatory structure. We look forward to hearing from experts on these important issues.”
